Can you cite the source for the data you have shared?
I tried to look and found the following.
1. Organized stand-alone restaurants are nearly 25% or 5,00,000 approx. Link
2. There were 2.2 million restaurants in India in 2002. There may be twice or more restaurants by now at 6% growth rate. Link
